It seems that once again, I've bitten off more than I can chew!
You are probably wondering what in the heck I am talking about, right? Well a few years I decided that I wanted to separate my personal blog content from both my VW stuff and my swim/bike/health stuff. To do that, I created two additional blogs:
1. An UberClydesdale's Journey
2. The VDub Geek's Garage
It seemed like a great idea at the time. I could focus my writing on each blog to that specific topic and leave this blog for my other stuff. What didn't I take into consideration?
Time.
One of the things that makes a blog useful is the posting of regular posts. So now instead of doing one post a week or a month, I ended up with having to do three times more! As Homer Simpson would say, "D'oh!".
I struggled to find stuff to post regularly and eventually just gave up with the blogs, even though I wanted to write, I just didn't have the energy and resources to come up with the content that three blogs required. Life just got in the way.
With the train-wreck that is 2020, I've had the time to do some insightful thinking and contemplation, and I've decided to ditch the two specialization blog. From now on, all topics will be posted here. I'm sure there will be some adjustments during the transition, but hang in there. I will get this figured out.
Another goal I've set for myself is to go back and finish the posts here that I started (with best of intentions) so they can be published. They will be backdated to when I created the post, so you will not see them as the newest post.
Anyways, I hope your September 2020 is off to a good start and let's hope the year finishes up better than it started! --TS
