The bad news is that he had me get a vaccine in my arm. Let me tell you, that the large needle wasn't painful, it's the vaccine itself that is painful. It made my arm/shoulder movement a bit sore.
With this soreness, I approached my coach this evening and asked him if we could adjust my workout this evening and make it focused on doing kick sets. They agreed to that, especially seeing as I really need to work on my kicks (except breaststroke, as I have been told I have a strong breaststroke kick), as my shoulders tend to do most of my work in the water.
The work-out (which I share below) went well. I got to the pool a little late, so I was only able to get in about an hour in the pool. The 60 minutes worked out well, as I was definitely feeling it in my legs as I got out of the pool. I need to talk to my coaches and see if I can get a kick workout into my rotation on a regular basis.
Well, it's off to bed with me. It's been a long day and tomorrow is going to be another long one, but I be attending something really exciting! Details tomorrow!!
