Last summer was a crazy summer. The focus of the summer was our move to Wisconsin. We had to find a place to live, figure out exactly what we needed to bring with us, pack it up, and get out there. It was a summer that I hope to never repeat. EVER.
One of the sacrifices that had to be made were my bicycles. We weren't going to have the room in our one bedroom apartment to store even one bike, let alone the bicycle workstand and tools. I decided to leave the bikes back in Wyoming and hope that the next summer things will be different and I would be able to bring back at least one of my bikes. Summer 2024 is here and two of my bikes are loaded onto my bike rack and are making their way home!
After a rather busy visit to Wyoming, I was able to put the Yakima TwoTimer bike rack on the Flex and bring home my Cannondale bikes! Right now we are staying the night in Lincoln, Nebraska. We are planning on being back home tomorrow afternoon. I'll finish up the trip by taking the rack off and the bicycles and getting them safely stored.
My plans are to recover for a few days from this trip, then I'm going to take a look at both of these bikes and see if they are ready for some exploring of Wisconsin! Be sure to check back, as I will be posting about my rides there!!!
