It is hard to believe this, but the day has come! Isaac has started Kindergarten! It seems like it was yesterday that this little guy was brought into this world. He has grown so much in over five years.
At home, Isaac was excited to be going to school, but I don't think the realization had settled in with just laid ahead for him.
It wasn't until he got to school that he started to realize that going to Kindergarten was going to be all new compared to pre-school. He wasn't too enthusiastic as he stood outside of his new classroom.
Once inside, he still wasn't impressed.
That evening, I asked Isaac how school was for his first day. He seems to have adjusted well since the morning. He seems like his teacher and is making new friends. It is my hope that Isaac finds school enjoyable and that his journey to becoming a lifelong learner becomes one of pleasure.
