Ok, another water polo post!

Ok, another water polo post! This afternoon our wonderful group of ladies finished an amazing game to conclude the 2014 Redlands Winter Classic. Our girls played some outstanding games starting on Thursday that led them to the final game of the tourney: the game for first place.

The final game of the tournament was the game for the overall winner of the Classic. With our girls playing so well, we ended up in that championship game with the CIF Div 6 champs from last year: Palm Desert.

Our girls did a great job of keeping the Palm Desert team from making the game a blow out, but their star field player and goalie were difficult to get past. We were able to adapt in the second half of the game, but we weren't able to score enough goals to catch Palm Desert.

All and all, the tourney was a success for YHS!
